Unique Challenges:
High groundwater conditions combined with nearly flat terrain required unique design solutions for surface grading and drainage conveyance. The high groundwater conditions made it challenging to meet the requirements for stormwater detention and discharge. MacKay and Somps analyzed a variety of storage and pumping scenarios, helping our clients and the City select a preferred solution that was most effective from both construction cost and O&M cost.
