PROJECT DETAILS

Approximately 1.4 miles of Grant Line Road within the limits of Mountain House was widened to 4 lanes over 4 phases, requiring permitting from Alameda County, Mountain House, and San Joaquin County. The plan had to accommodate drainage constraints, existing utilities (high pressure gas lines and fiber optic lines) and be designed to allow traffic flow during the nearly 3 years of construction.

MacKay & Somps provided Civil Engineering, Planning, and Surveying Services including feasibility studies, public outreach, PG&E permitting assistance, preparation of construction documents, and construction support.
